During performances of Witness for the Prosecution, The Driftwood Players are pleased to feature the work of artist Sandi Hansen in the lobby of The Wade James Theatre.

Sandi Hansen, is a self taught artist. At the age of 10 she started oil painting with her mom on Friday nights with friends.

In 1982 she fell in love with the process of doing ink and watercolor painting together. Sandi displayed and sold her paintings at Vera’s in Ballard during the 80’s. Since then, she has done numerous commission pieces featuring boats and houses.

A new love for photography has inspired Sandi to return to watercolor painting. Using both old and new photographs, she enjoys painting nostalgic themes from the past and present.
